Paula is a PhD candidate in Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. She has Master studies in Politics and Management of Science and Technology (University of Buenos Aires), a postgraduate degree in Public Management of Citizen Participation (National University of Litoral) and a degree in International Relations (Córdoba Catholic University).

As a member of the Area of Social Studies of Technology and Innovation of the Institute of Studies on Science and Technology (National University of Quilmes), Paula develops her academic production on Technology and Innovation for Inclusive and Sustainable Development; Circular Economy; and Collaborative Knowledge Management. All focused on water and food production issues.

Currently Juarez is the scientific coordinator of the research project Management of Knowledge and scientific-technological knowledge for the resolution of water problems in Argentina (GECOA) and the Water Platform (2016-2019); is a member of the group responsible for the International Transformative Social Innovation Theory Project of the 7th Framework Program of the European Union (2014-2017) and the Public R&D Project Right of Access to Goods: Water for Development (FONARSEC-IDB, 2012-2018). She also has participation in research by INTA, CIRAD (Fracia), FAO, IICA, IDRC (Canada), RedPPAL, University of Sussex (England), among others.

Her academic production is reflected in articles by prestigious national and international specialized journals, books, book chapters, lectures, virtual platforms, articles of dissemination, and journalistic notes.

Likewise, Juarez develops her research from a collaborative and praxis perspective to promote dynamics of inclusive development. She coordinates and articulates territorial intervention and advocacy in public policies. In this sense, she has been the coordinator of the Network of Technologies for Social Inclusion in Argentina (RedTISA) since 2011 and as coordinator of the SEDCERO Program (access to water and sanitation in Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay) since 2013.

She teaches at the National University of Quilmes and the National University of the Litoral.
