The Master of Science, Technology and Society (STS) of the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ) aims to train professionals in two related areas:
- The understanding of social, political and economic processes involved in the production, communication, transference and dissemination of science, technology and innovation;
- The management and direction of these processes.
The master program is currently offered both in an in-class and a virtual modality, that working in a complementary, flexible and integrated manner. The combination of both systems allows to make the most of available educational technologies and to provide options and strategies that suit the diverse needs and demands of the master students.
Since 2010, in-class courses are held at the University Campus in Bernal city, in a three-days-per-month concentrated format (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
The Master of Science, Technology and Society has been accredited with “A” status in its in-class modality (RS 308/99), the highest score for a graduate course awarded by the National Assessment and Accreditation Bureau (CONEAU) in recognition of its sound trajectory and prestigious faculty.
