Dora Corvalán has a Bachelor in Economy and an MA in Industrial Development for Small Businesses from the National University of General Sarmiento. Her thesis, “Opportunities of Innovation from the Classic Biotechnology – A Case Study”, deals with Biotechnology as input for the agricultural sector.
She is a member of the CONICET support Personal Career, within which she is a main professional at the Institute of Technology and Science Studies at National University of Quilmes. She has attended many courses and seminars about social studies of technology and a Marxist perspective of technology and economy at the National University of Buenos Aires and the National University of Quilmes.
She has published papers dealing with biotechnology as input for agricultural sectors, medicine, and human vaccines which is her current topic of research.
